The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG)

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has a vision to spread the Word of God to the ends of the earth. It is a Bible believing church, where teachings and a missionary approach emphasize the proper conduct and moral behavior of people. The church has an appeal to all types of people worldwide, with a determination to teach people in their various geographical areas, stages of secular life and levels of spiritual development. The General Overseer of the church is Pastor E.A. Adeboye.

The church was founded in 1952 and since then, the church has grown to over 5,000 parishes worldwide with a total congregational strength of over 3 million people.

Presently, there are established missions in many African countries, as well as Europe, Asia, the United States, the Caribbean, Canada, South America and Australia.

RCCG has also been involved in establishing schools, rehabilitation centers, child care and support centers.

RCCG Dominion Cathedral New Jersey

RCCG Dominion Cathedral New Jersey began her journey on the 6th of April 1997 in 76 Myrtle Avenue Irvington and then moved to 81 Sherman Place, also in Irvington; then on to 120 Evergreen Place in East Orange; then on to 731 South 17th Street Newark. We moved into this building at Newark in August 2000 and by the end of 2001, the congregation had grown to fill this auditorium. This led us to commence two services since March 2002 until April 2006.

We believed God for a bigger auditorium that will accommodate about 1000 members. In August 2004, we launched - The Ezra Mandate - Church Building Fund Drive. Church members were encouraged to pledge 5% of their annual income towards the project.

No doubt our God has been good and faithful and I am convinced that He is ready to take us to higher grounds. He alone has brought us to where we are now from nowhere. We give him all the glory. Today our strength lies in the faith we have in our unfailing God. Our beliefs remain in the uncompromised Word of God and our victory in the blood of Jesus. God gave us a new and befitting Auditorium which is our current worship location at 180 Main Street, Orange, New Jersey 07050.

We are using this opportunity to appreciate all the workers, ministers and entire congregation because without them this church will not be at this level. We challenge you to greater productivity as we embark on another year of service to our God.

To all our friends, supporters, well wishers and visitors, the Lord will richly bless and favor you. He will perfume you with the oil of gladness. May you experience a lifting to higher grounds. The House of Dominion is on her way to perfect and glorious heights.

God bless and keep you. Amen.
